Chad Nikel, President & CEO

Chad has over 25 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical and medical device industries spanning start-up through Fortune 500 companies. Immediately prior to joining Spectra Medical Devices, he was a member of the executive leadership team at Haemonetics Corporation (NYSE: HAE) where he was President of the Blood Center and Commercial Plasma business units. He previously held roles in R&D, Manufacturing, and Sales and Marketing. Chad earned his B.S. in Engineering from the U.S. Air Force Academy and M.B.A. from St. Mary’s University.

As Chief Financial Officer, Tim oversees Spectra Medical Device’s global finance operation. He brings to Spectra over 15 years of corporate finance and accounting experience across Fortune 500 companies. Prior to joining Spectra’s executive leadership team, he worked as Sr Director & Segment Controller for Becton Dickinson (BD)’s Interventional Segment. Within BD, he held several positions spanning multiple geographies including Mexico, Puerto Rico and Arizona. He has overseen multisite global manufacturing finance operations and has worked at global business units. Tim earned his B.S. in Finance and M.B.A from Bentley University and is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA).

Jack has 15+ years of experience as in-house counsel in the medical device industry, including as General Counsel for OrthoSensor, Inc., a medical device start-up which was successfully sold to Stryker Orthopedics in 2020. Prior to his in-house work, Jack practiced law at Davis Polk & Wardell in New York and Greenberg Traurig in Miami, focusing on mergers and acquisitions. Immediately following law school, Jack clerked for the Delaware Court of Chancery, the nation’s premiere court for corporate matters. Jack earned his B.A. from the University of Wisconsin and his Juris Doctor from the New York University School of Law.

Jason has over 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry. After starting his career at Cardinal Health, he served as Chief Commercial Officer for Suture Express, a private equity owned surgical distribution company, who was sold to Medline in 2019. Jason has held roles in operations, finance, commercial and executive leadership. He earned his B.S. from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and M.B.A. from The Ohio State University.

Jason has over 20 years of experience in the medical device industry leading companies of various sizes and stages. Recently and prior to joining Spectra Medical Devices, he was instrumental in building the Interventional business at Teleflex where he led marketing, product management, inside sales, service, and demand planning. Most of his career has been spent in sales and marketing roles, however Jason has also led R&D and manufacturing efforts. Jason earned his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, his M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan, and his M.B.A. from Stanford University.

Erin has over 20 years of Human Resources experience in the medical device, pharmacy benefit management and semiconductor industries where she supported engineering, R&D, manufacturing, and sales. Over the span of her career, she has delivered game changing organizational results in the areas of talent development, strategy and building an inclusive culture. Erin earned her B.S. degree in Consumer Sciences and Management from Purdue University.

Tae-Hang (TH) Lee, President, Manufacturing

TH oversees Spectra Medical Device’s three manufacturing sites in South Korea.  With over 30 years of experience in the medical device production environment, he has developed a systematic approach to continuous improvement through the deployment of various disciplines such as Six Sigma.  Immediately prior to joining Spectra, TH was a plant manager for a kidney dialysis solution manufacturing site at Gambro (acquired by Baxter).  Earlier in his career, he was a quality and plant manager at Bayer (Animal Health) and quality manager at BD.  TH earned his B.S. from KonKuk University and an Executive M.B.A from EducAsia.
